About the Madrassah
Our Madrassah has been serving the Stockport community for many years, providing children with a solid foundation in their Islamic faith. We offer a warm, welcoming environment where every child is encouraged to grow in knowledge and character.
What We Teach
A well-rounded Islamic education covering the essentials of faith and practice
Quran
القرآنChildren are introduced to the Quran, learning to recognise and read Arabic letters and words with care and reverence.
Nazara
النظرةFluent reading of the Quran from the mushaf, building confidence and accuracy in recitation from beginning to end.
Tajweed
التجويدThe rules of correct Quranic recitation — proper pronunciation, elongation, and articulation points — so the Quran is recited as it was revealed.
Duas & Surahs
الأدعية والسورMemorisation of essential daily duas, short surahs, and the kalimas — equipping children with the supplications they need for everyday life.
Hifz
الحفظMemorisation of the Quran for those who wish to become Hafiz. Students are guided with care and dedication through this blessed journey.
Islamic Studies
الدراسات الإسلاميةCovering the pillars of Islam, Islamic manners, and the fundamentals of aqeedah (belief) in an age-appropriate and engaging way.
Hadith
الحديثSelected sayings and traditions of the Prophet ﷺ, helping children understand his example and apply his teachings in daily life.
Tafseer
التفسيرExplanation and understanding of Quranic verses — helping students connect with the meaning and message of Allah's words.
